Fluorescence: a UV response, not a verdict
Fluorescence describes a response to long-wave ultraviolet light. Blue is common, but other colours occur.
What changes visually?
None, Faint, Medium, Strong and Very Strong describe intensity. A strong response does not automatically mean haze. Our UV view illustrates a blue response, not everyday appearance. Inspect the actual stone in daylight and assess real transparency.
What does that mean for price?
Discounts or premiums depend on colour, demand and the individual stone. Do not buy solely for a discount or exclude a stone solely because of this description.
